file too large Tiff strip size
TIFF is not a streamable format. This means that if we were resizing an image to be pixels wide, -thumbnail would first resize it to 2, pixels wide using -sample ; the result might be blocky and pixelated, as we saw in the examples above, but the operation would be fast and would produce a result with a small file size. Choosing an appropriate resampling filter has one of the biggest effects, but other settings can affect the number of colors in the output as well. If you register with Adobe to allocate your private tag codes, or have already done so in the past, we recommend submitting the necessary information to this Tag Directory next.

The library has been modified so that programs writing TIFF files do not need to know or care when they reach a 4GB data size. You need to be a member in order to leave a comment. These values are often the same and, combined, tell ImageMagick how much to blur the image.
